Ollie is a (pick one) Hybrid— Designer Dog—Weapon of Mass Destruction. Actually he's all three. He's a Golden Doodle. A Poodle/Golden Retriever mix. Border Collies are supposedly the smartest dogs. Poodles come in second, Shepherds third and Golden Retrievers fourth. So Oliver is not too shabby. As intelligent as they are, there is however a downside to Golden Doodles. They take years to grow up. Three years on average to lose their puppyhood traits, one of which is destroying things. Chomp, chomp and it’s gone as illustrated here.
